whatever you do, be careful when you put the top on because it'll do more than break a finger lmao

MickyMcD - "Capable of making some serious trouser flapping volumes at where's-my-testicles frequencies, the Servo-Drives used to be fairly jaw dropping..."

Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through.

I am imaging how your gonna put the top plate on with the drill press. You better have two grown ass men holding onto the lowering guide.

as long as the lowering guide doesnt put their fingers under the top plate.. that fucker's gonna have a lot of pulling force.

have fun with that top plate. That is gonna be a beeeeeooocccchhhhhhh

Don't remind me, I'm literally dreading the moment I have to deal with that. I was thinking, "Oh, I'll just put a wooden shim around it or something". then I realized how tight the gap was and how thin the shim would be, I'm not actually sure it's possible to even get the top plate on without snapping to the center pole lol. Should be fun.

This is what you are in for.

I'm not using the drill press to put it on, just to drill out the holes for the basket. It's all cast iron and steel so if I brought the base plate even even a few feet of his workshop, I would not be taking it home............. He's got steel work benches and machinery everywhere. It would be a magnetic blood bath......

you better hope your spiders keep that coil stupid linear

Lol right? I was like, we need something other than bolts for the basket, if the damn thing wasn't aluminum I would GTAW the crap out of that basket and have absolutely no movement possibility whatsoever. But it's aluminum, so I'm screwed since I don't have a friction welder nor do I know how to do explosive welding.....

The screws it came with are childs play, they look like stainless grade 3's, I'm gonna find some bigger grade 8's tomorrow..

That's also why I have the pole extruding further than the top plate, just in case the xmax gets a little too nuts it won't slide around.

Fucking love Alan you goddamned fucking super nerd lol

When Alan uses big words I don't understand

It's warming up enough that the donut-punching cyclist douchenozzles are getting their two wheeled fagmobiles out.

Everytime I see a guy driving a mini cooper I cant help but think he loves cock & (2/29/16)-My wife just bitched at me about throwing out things we don't really use. My response of well we don't really use your vagina so should we throw that out was evidently not the right response. I had to leave the room.

I missed Alan.

RIP 5/29/15 - I love you son.
