Got some more 1/0 ofc cable, and lugs heatshrink from SKY HIGH CAR AUDIO that came in today along with a free teeshirt for ordering it on black friday! Havent got my XS D2700 yet but thats understandable because I dont think its one they regularly stock but I'm in no rush so no worries. The cable is because I'm adding another run of + & - (making that 3 runs each) that will go directly to the rear battery bank bypassing the two d3400's under the hood since the rear bank obviously gets more strain. I mean just with the one t2500 I would drop down to low 13's to high 12's(voltage reading was from rear batts) wich I was kind of supprised...so I figured it would be better to just give it some more amp hours/ reaserve but also more importantly a better more direct source of alternator power! Also I'm excited to try out my idea for the buss bars! Think plan is tomorrow my buddy is going to help me WELD up a battery rack to fit the three 2700's, if that doesnt happen Ill probably just keep glassing:) Funny how the people who have a louder system than you will usually give you a compliment about your setup because they know how much blood, sweat, time, and money you put into it. I'm considering adding another run myself but from alt like you are,I already have a front to rear battery ground that I plan on making a + run instead since I have a frame ground in the rear and from the front... My sonoma with the 4.3l was the biggest PITA to do alt work on...I guess compared to the sierra it sucked...I dont know why but the dc alt I had came with the positive clocked to where it was less than an 1/8th of an inch away from the thottle cable mount. Very sketchy! had to take alot of shiz apart to get that B!tch in safely! I say go for it though, that sounds like a solid plan and should definatly make an improvement! Only thing I could think of to make it less sketchy!
