I know some people will give me shit for using dual inputs and then running fuses, because most people dont fuse their dual inputs because they want a direct connection for more juice...but I dont care I'm not really chasing numbers, I just love the look of a shit ton of cable Also yes I'm liking how all the fusses make it look power plant-ish lol! Kind of stole the idea of cutting up fuse holders from Meade though I'll admit. I just had to save some room so I flipped the batteries and used angled aluminium to locate all of them up top. I was thinking about getting some plexi/ or some thick plastic and make my own fuse block but this was a little easier and about the same price so I went this rout. Would have been cool to try though. Funny how the people who have a louder system than you will usually give you a compliment about your setup because they know how much blood, sweat, time, and money you put into it. The people who criticize or try and one up you....have a p.o.s to no system at all and will tell you all about this "other" guys system! Saddley I'm sure if I meet this "other" guy...he will probably tell me he thinks your just as annoying as I think you are! I'm not compensating, just proud of fabricating! tommylee11491 Posted April 24, 2014 Report Posted April 24, 2014 Finished the Negative buss bar today after work, got it all drilled and tapped. btw that green goop is from Kimbal Midwest and it does an amazing job! Keeps the piece and the bits way more cool and saves your drill bits a ton of work and obviously makes them last longer doesn't leave a big ol' mess like cutting oil usually does...I don't know how it does it but it makes every part of cutting through metal waaaay better...I'm sure there's lots of product like it but I'm sold on this stuff! mounted it up, cant really tell but I swirled up this one with an air sander...always liked the look it gives off...moving on Lot's of connections for sure! dude looking good! why 15 grounds though??

Yeah I knew I wanted to have as many grounds as positives but ended up with one more, so if I need to add some accessories down the road then I dont have to pull the buss bar off and drill and tap again...although that means Ill have to locate another fuse holder somewhere but we will just see what happens Btw going to need your help sometime soon getting all the alt wiring ran....going to be a long day! Sweet! because this was originally the set up I was going to use for the 2 RF 2500's and was going to judge if I needed to go bigger when I made the jump to 10k....but plans changed for the best in my opinion. no updates tonight, just kickin back! goodvibez Posted April 26, 2014 Report Posted April 26, 2014 Alright got the last bit of stuff I needed in the mail today so I hurried and went to work cutting up the fuse holders Also cut a piece of 1/4" mdf and wrapped it in a piece of carbon fiber vinyl just to make it look a little nicer...probably wont see it with all the wire in but oh well and pretty much done just need to get some washers and this well be ready to install! COLTON94 Posted April 26, 2014 Report Posted April 26, 2014 Im actually loving ur bus bars on the batts. U had a issue and found a cheap way to fix it. Im still planning everything out in my build but i should be picking up a major piece this weekend
