goodvibez Posted May 2, 2014 Report Posted May 2, 2014 So got some work done on the alt charging wires First got rid of the factory battery box which had a place for jumpecables basically...thats out and replaced the positive battery cable with a shca lug because I need to to cover a spot on that cable with some heat shrink made things easier this was in the way and super close to the alt distrobution so out it went Did a little drill and tap action Soooooo its getting there just noticed all these pictures came out super blurry...my bad Funny how the people who have a louder system than you will usually give you a compliment about your setup because they know how much blood, sweat, time, and money you put into it. The people who criticize or try and one up you....have a p.o.s to no system at all and will tell you all about this "other" guys system! Saddley I'm sure if I meet this "other" guy...he will probably tell me he thinks your just as annoying as I think you are! I'm not compensating, just proud of fabricating! I really dont mind it I love running big ass cabel...this is the most I've done though...so by the end of it I'm sure I'll be sick of it haha Just glad I invested in my hydrolic crimper because I've almost used all my lugs I had in that battery pic. soo guess I'm ordering about 40 more lugs because I'll be out by the time I get to wire up the amps to the battery I'll be out Dude amazing work on the cable routing in there. I'm starting to think I may just strip the Civic now, and put it all in the truck. If I do that I know I'll have a nice system in there and the truck isn't going anywhere. it's just going to get nicer and nicer. I drive it more and more now that it's running well. If I could just weld, I'd really turn it out! But alas I'm not experienced in it. I still need to update my truck build log. Maybe I'll just start a new one.
