I don't see how the meters could be wrong. Your 100% sure there isn't a connection issue?

My tm1 helped me find a wiring issue recently with weird discrepancies in voltage.

I just ran direct positive and direct ground coming from the vm-1 only separate from the other guages, kinda the last thing I can do..unless for some odd reason it measures voltage it from the remote turn on... I'm lost

Got a message from rusty told me to free air the subs that have the noise and double check, so I did and its definately still there and its not in the other two subs so he gave me an ra said they will check them at dc and if its what I'm saying they will recone them and send um' back so I checked and double checked and unless for some odd reason the trek over fixes the problem I should be getting recones...we will see

with the subs out I'll be doing stuff anyway....does this put me out of the running for sotm? that would suck because I dont think this is my fault lol..if it does...so be it!

Funny how the people who have a louder system than you will usually give you a compliment about your setup because they know how much blood, sweat, time, and money you put into it. The people who criticize or try and one up you....have a p.o.s to no system at all and will tell you all about this "other" guys system! Saddley I'm sure if I meet this "other" guy...he will probably tell me he thinks your just as annoying as I think you are!

I'm not compensating, just proud of fabricating!

Haha no, no rebuild. Got too much invested in this setup to rip it out...need to gain knowledge and experience with tuning and tweeking to get the most out of this system.

I pulled some subs and noticed some places that need to be fixed like I'm going to 45° all the seems with resin then round over the insides of the sub cutouts .

Not saying this is going to give me 3dbs or anything major but if helps then I say its worth it.

I "think" I'll gain the most by taking up some space in the box to help with cone control.. and the space I take up needs to be helping the air get out of the box...but won't know till I try...

Any one with more experience with this got any suggestions.

Oh and adding sound deadener is going to push more air out of the vehicle rather than letting the panels absorb it I understand that one lol!

But one day I'll be upgrading to bigger subs ditching the rear seat idea or maybe find me a different vehicle and turn put a couple 8's in this truck or something

haha no I would return this vehicle into a small sq system and build me a duraburb or something unique like that and put a massive system in that! Then have my truck availiable for towing it around or something(although it will have plenty of power to move around on its own lol)...maybe find me a 6speed allison with a duramax lbz motor(or if I'm lucky an lml yeah right) stick that in my truck and then stick my lb7 motor trans into a 3.4ton suburban solid front axel and as many 18's/15's as I can fit in there lol! But while that dream is coming alive I'll stick to this :)! I have many years before any of that could happen..saddly :(

So got an issue...Ive stated I want to add some more internal 45's and possibly raise the floor a bit to help keep the subs from over excursion but the more room I take up the higher my tuning goes up..I figure if I univert the sub and add about .3 cubic ft of bracing/45's I'll be closer to the 40hz area rather than the 32hz area..

so its a catch 22...the more I add the more I lose...the lows that is. so if I want to go lower I can invert more subs essentially giving me more airspace...but then I might be pushing them too hard...

so thats where I'm at...

Haha I hear ya man!! I only have 8 inches to play with ....if you know what I mean lol..... I think I'm going to build a sort of scoop on the end of the port and see what that does...I have a few ideas on that....firing right into my c pillar might be hurting the out put....and who doesn't like scoops lol

This should act as like extending my port....sort of. But that comment did give me the idea haha thanks!
