The only major obstacle I have is My HU being repair (yes again smh) on time and widening the stock speaker holes so my Hertz can fit... Today I put Red Ruby under knife and yanked out old wiring and replaced it with some 2/0 welding cable... It was a PITA (and even thats an understatement) to get it thru my factory grommet, but I got it!! I have all the power wire in place as of now and my factory 6x9s removed so sound can vent in the cabin without the need of letting seats down (in case I have rear passengers). So all I have left is to re run my RCAS, mount amps, re install alternator and install door speakers and subs!! Everything is in the "Plug In" stage so although it sounds like a lot, I can do it all in 2 days (being that I do work FT)... Any who, enough talking, here are the pics This is all the speaker wires, remote, and RCAs ran from my last build under factory panels... All that shit in that tiny bit of space lol.. but it is much cleaner now!! I'll take more pics before I put back on all the factory panels Nissan FTL! Wood Posted July 21, 2015 Author Report Share Posted July 21, 2015 Because I was crunched for time, I had my teammate build my enclosure which happened to be finished today Built with Birch Ply.. Ended up changing the design a little and was able to squeeze 3.75cu ft (net) so they will be more happy with the additional volume I most likely wont have the enclosure carpeted by the show as I'm waiting on a 1/8th straight bit in the mail so I can tuck the carpet around the port.. I also thought about buying some latches and mount the enclosure with that, so in case of emergencies I can quickly disconnect it remove it and have access to my spare! I'll also be painting the latches black so they wont be so "loud" and out of place... Should turn out pretty nice! All wires re ran and organized, amps are in place and also my door speakers are in place.. All that's left is to install subs, alternator and Head unit (currently in repair AGAIN ) .. basically I'm a couple hours away worth of work time and she'll be playing!! GREAT News, I got my HU back today, So I'll be installing it tonight, pre wiring my subs and tomorrow will be alt install & tuning!! Sorry for he lack of pictures, but I work 10hr night shifts everyday while trying to squeeze in this build in the morning before I have to get back ready for work.. So I be in the zone trying to get it finished.. Also I will be getting the enclosure painted next Monday along with my roof!! (No more vinyl wrap ) ...
