Wood Posted February 3, 2016 Author Report Share Posted February 3, 2016 I know what you mean. I'm thinking it will only be a couple more weeks and I'll get started on redoing my doors. I still haven't decided whether I want to throw the HAT L8's in the doors or the kicks. I'm leaning towards kicks to make it easier to direct them on axis to the centerI like kick panels, but I can't stand not having full range of motion in my daily driver... HAT L8's are bad ass too!! That's another thing that has me pushing doors. To do kicks, I like stretching my left leg out when I drive, right where the kick pod would be. And the parking brake wouldn't be able to go all the way down (whether it needs to or not to work fully, I don't know, but I like to put it all the way down). I blended all the edges pretty damn well and really will just be focusing on filling in pits from here on out... Super excited about the progress I made today... I MIGHT be able to have my doors ready for wrap by Saturday!! Just threw down the first layer and tried blending the edges... After sanding down everything, here's where I'm at after today!!! This panel is very close to being done.. still have minor imperfections that I'm gonna fix because I want these as close to perfect as I can make them, but as it stands, it's pretty much towards the finish line This one have more work to be done to it, but the edges from where the fiberglass transition to the panel and the actual lines of the panel is on point.. just have to feather some parts a little more and fill in some pits.. other than that this one is almost to the finish line too.. not like the other one, but it's not far off! Going to buy a sanding block tomorrow morning to hopefully help me sand a little...
