my two 15 inch CVR's and my A3000DB cost me like $500 so i think u may be overpaying a bit

and i think u should go wit 4 HCCA's instead of mixing sub types

Go on ebay, they have tons of new stuff you odn't have to buy used from ebay.

Get like two 12" RE SX's in your truck or something, they would sound really good, hell even get four if you really want to do the center console idea. A pair of SX's shipped is exactly $500 so four for $1000 and pick up a Hifonics XXV Colossus for another $600 shipped and you will have one loud truck, with all brand new equipment.

for the amps and the subs should not cost that much and i would put some kinetik battery's in there.. and stick with the same brand if ur wanting this truck to be for show then u wana make everything the same so that it looks like ur tryin to make it look nice and not like u couldn't afford to make it all the same.

thats not why we say dont mix subs

each sub has a slightly different way it moves and having different types sizes or power ratings can cause cancellation and make it sound horrible and hurt your score

but loox also have a little bit to do with it

There is a sticky saying why not to mix brands. Also that is a bit steep for the price, you could get 4 18s with 1krms+ each for that price (New). I'm not knocking what you're getting, I'm just saying it pays to shop around a bit..

db score is hard to say also. there are SOOOO many factors that come into play. just dont get your hopes set on a number, cuz if you dont hit that number, you'll be more depressed about it

There is a thread dealing with this...but it doesn't say "you should..." OR "you shouldn't"...

It got stickied/pinned cuz I explained what you need to take into consideration when mixing subs....it CAN be done, and done WELL.

But it's a gamble.

So test with both sets of subs and with each pair indiviually...& be ready to rebuild it just in case it sounds "not so great".
