ncochran
Strongest old school amp I personnaly owned was a Punch 200ix. the sexiest amps were the ppi art series, and the amps I respected the most were the Orion hcca. Hifonics was badass back then, and some Crunch products were pretty damn nice. On another note, anyone remember how awesome the Hollywood subs with the green surrounds looked when they were hitting lol? 2006 Scion xB 2 Sundown SA12D2 Ported at 32hz 147 on non termlab (140-142 on TL) Currently in a walled 4th @ 50hz (not metered yet) Hifonics brz2100 Alpine Type-S Components Kicker 300.2 Big 3 / Skyhigh 1/0 cca Optima Blue Top 3 e8s ported at 32hz 135.1 sealed on dash @ 56hz 135.0 outlaw (I must have chosen song poorly lol) Build log 'Brandon15zzz', on 09 May 2012 - 3:13 PM, said: May have been clipping but none fucks were givin. probillygun
I ran Rockford's Power 650 and Power 300 in early 90s which I loved, but then switched to Zapcos Z600s in mid 90s for a sweeter top end better SQ
mattie
My first serious amp was a Foagate 100ix. Paid 510.00 for it and still have the recipt somewhere from Paradyme car audio in Sacramento. It was hooked to 2 Earthquake 15's in a sealed box in my Datsun 510 and boy did it slam. Had an Alpine on some Polk Audios EX's for the tunes. Always turned down before I arrived anywhere and was stole in less than a month. Did even make a credit card payment.
f16fxr4real
Always thought the SX Soundstream series were great. In fact, shopped and shopped and found myself a mint 705S and also a 644S. Using the 705 in my 65 Chevy with Exact 10s and Diamond Audio mids/highs.
