CaPRiCEx383
Sounds vaccum related to me also, But. I had/have the same problem. For me it's the oil, Was too thin for my application, So when ever the car got warmed up and I would come to a stop it would want to stall out on me numerous times. It was always worse when getting on it on the freeway and by the time I got off, It would really want to die on the stoplight. I haven't got around to changing the oil, But when I had 20w50 I didn't have that problem... 90 Nissan 240sx Avic z-140bh Audison SR4 Audison Voce 6.5s CDT es-20 tweeters Sundown 1500v3 (2) DD 9510's 3 cube box 2 6" aeros XS Power D2400 & Xp950 Skyhigh/Knukonceptz/Rockford Fosgate wiring More Coming Soon.. I asked my mechanic to change it as it's over due by 2 months and 1000 miles, but he kept forgetting so that why I scheduled a different place to do it. Even though my other mechanic would do it for free. Airborne
you have a big round thing on the driver's side of the firewall. That is your break booster. There is a big hose coming from it to your carb/intake. Sometimes it has what looks like a filter on it.
Airborne
and vacuum advance is on the distributor. There will be a line coming from it to your carb.
Tarball
Pic of engine compartment would be helpful but really hands on is best. As stated it really sounds like the issue is vaccum related. On a side note though, even if its not the carb, get an edelbrock on there. Airborne
I have run Holley and quadrajet style (edelbrock) and even in a lowrider the holey was a better performing carb. No reason to change it if there is nothing wrong with it...

Yeah I see those. Should I check them for leaks? Macgyver76
I am thinking you need a pro to go through the carb, I would say a combination of accelerator pump and float adjustments. In 20 plus years of wrenching I have found you will be lucky to find 1 out of 25 people who say they can dial in a carb who actually have a clue and can do so. Macgyver76
As a second thought if you want great drivability and simplicity I highly recommend the MSD throttle body injection system, quick easy powerful fuel injection with little to no install hassles
deathcards
imo sounds like a vacuum or a miss problem if you can check your spark see if you got a weakling in the bunch check ignition cap (i think that is how its spelled been a while) check it sometime the metal tabs inside can have wear from vibration and use ie. my cousin had a camaro rs older one and the tabs were very worn to missing O.o skar sk2500.1 0 gauge power and ground kunukonceptz alpine HUvxi65 components on BA gt-275new build log -> http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/150642-project-d-kon-deathcards-build-log/#entry2148821 2 x-15 sundowns singer alt, odyssey bat, and maxwell ultra caps
