I know they are just trying to be funny, and its usually true, but "SQ for people who aren't loud" doesn't apply to everyone.....just sayin. :)

Wish you hadnt said that, i really thought i was finished with my build now you making me wonder what i could have done differently or what I can upgrade , this hobby is never ending my wife will have to confiscate my credit cards soon.

Does anyone in here have a true example of what an SQ system will contain ? equipment wise low to mid range in price ?

"i"m just trying to see when I turn my music up and it still sounds clear how loud in terms of DB i can get without loosing quality."

in this case, use an RTA to see what level you can go to, and still retain a smooth graph.

Don't sweat it, we're just busting your balls, bro.

It seems around here if you're not running 10k+ here you're not loud and if you're not running Focal/Hertz/Audison you're not SQ. Usually around here your build log doesn't get much exposure unless you're running a wall with 4 18s and 20kw.

I think what everyone is getting at is, if you really want an SQ system, your install needs to stand out.

2007 Pacifica
Rebuild. Less quiet. Still not loud.

As long as you are enjoying the hobby and you like the system you built is all that matters. Where you at that you dont have any shops around?
