Pioneerchuck
Just measure the wire you have and take a little bit off so the techflex actually has to flex to cover the wire (dont want it to just slide on and off) and you're golden.

Oky yea but what thickness of thechlex i need to run for 1/0 gauge power wire? Dude...You have to measure YOUR wire so you know what size to buy. Not all wiring is the same size. So measure YOUR wire then buy some Techflex that is maybe 1/16th to an 1/8th of an inch smaller than your measurements and the techflex will fit perfectly. mothra
i like the techflex look but personally use a lot of loom. 3/4" for 0 gauge 1/2" for 4 gauge. i use loom for the ease of putting it over existing wires so I don't have just a few pieces of one thing while the rest is something else. I'm about to replace all the factory black loom with purple loom. don't forget to either heat shrink or put electrical tape on the ends of loom or techflex. if nothing changes, nothing changes You don't know what you don't know, till you don't know

Oky yea but what thickness of thechlex i need to run for 1/0 gauge power wire? I went ahead and bought 1/2" TechFlex and it works perfect. Can shrink down to 1/4" but can also expand to 3/4" so it fits all the 1/0, 2 and 4 gauge I have.
