Good thing i have a CC-1 and DD-1 Sam had the same issue with his and I believe he sent one back so he could have equal power over his 4 amps. I think they did it free of charge. So I am hoping to run my current mids/highs from one channel of my highs/mids amp and for the other half of the amp I am thinking about getting 1 set of RF T5 to try out. Think that what i have is enough? (i know loaded question) Also, you think twice the rated power would blow the T5's? I would really rather NOT blow them, lol. 2 sets T3 = 500 watts RMS rating 1 set T5 = 300 watts RMS rating +/- actual power output of amplifier combined 800 watts RMS rating for speakers, 1000 watt RMS constant power amp with a 1200+ birth sheet. I would assume the T3 side of the amp is split between enough speakers to be just fine but the T5 side will be 600'ish watts output (perfect world) for 300 RMS wattage rating and I'm worried about blowing them. i do really wanna try the T5 but only if i can justify needeing them to keep up with the substage. 03 Xtreme Fosgate Posted July 14, 2013 Report Posted July 14, 2013 Good luck getting in touch with tool maker,I've contacted him a few times and have only got 1 response about some dual inputs for my RF Power amp but still have yet to hear back from him so I gave up and contacted Project DB on facebook,had some dual inputs 4 days later... You'll be ok running those T5's on the 600-4 just set your gain properly.. Karkov Posted July 14, 2013 Author Report Posted July 14, 2013 It's a T1000-4ad but would be only using half the amp for the T5's. 2 sets t5 would mean the T3 would have more power going to them, if anything I would like more power going to the T5, lol. Maybe i should rethink some things. Add an amp possibly. or get 2 more sets t3 to run off current amp and then get 1-2 sets of T5 to run off a separate amp....Shit, i just need to get this thing done. It's a pretty simple box build so that part shouldn't take too long. sodfamily Posted July 15, 2013 Report Posted July 15, 2013 Here are some idea's of trim and box set up we did in a 2001 Tahoe I absolutely LOVE that setup. I have thought about that upper beauty plate/baffle thing as well to fit nicely and hide the sides of box but it's way better seeing a pic. of one than imagining one, lol. My problem is though i need 6 inches behind the sub box for port and I'm not sure if i can fit my batteries back there. i am trying to keep a stock look some what and none of the batteries fit inside the rear panels either. Under the vehicle is out, MN winters. the rear set of seats have NO room under them which is unlike former Tahoe's so no amps there either. Box will be tight against those seats to get me the 6" behind it so I don't think i can mount amps to the front of the box as you did there. I'm thinking i might have to have amp racks blocking the rear side windows or something which i really didn't want to do but i can't hide them anywhere else. Either way that setup is BOMB!! I love it. thanks for sharing!!!! We ended up with about 4-5" off the rear tailgate. That was our magic number on the distance. we also have 2 more 2500's under the back seat and a 1000.4 mounted to the back passenger side panel. Depending on the height of your box you my have room for the amps or batteries down the sides. We had 2 ab1100.1's mounted to the sides of this box at one point in time also. Our T2's took a 2500BD per with no issues, they got hot and smelly but never stopped. I am talking about 3 minute full tilt Music runs (competing class). I may have missed it but what size box are you doing. Ours was 3.25 per sub and 144" of port and sounded awesome. Played all kinds of music well and got DOWN..... Just what we have found..
