Funny how the people who have a louder system than you will usually give you a compliment about your setup because they know how much blood, sweat, time, and money you put into it. The people who criticize or try and one up you....have a p.o.s to no system at all and will tell you all about this "other" guys system! Karkov Posted July 25, 2014 Author Report Share Posted July 25, 2014 Thanks guys. Yea, was originally gonna just run the Mechman but wanted higher charging and non-PCM so figured I'd try DC Power. I know I have to clean under the hood and take care of the wires but I wanted to make sure everything was working properly just in case. So far so good and am very happy. I got my equipment pulled out right now building a new amp rack but hopefully this weekend I can find time to get some tunes back in and test it out. I'm sure my setup will be no match for my electrical. Also, the DC power kit is top notch, absolutely came with everything needed, installed in no time, worked perfect right out the gate, fit and finish of the goods are top notch, I am really glad after waiting all the time that there have been no issues and things went as smooth as they could. If you can just maintain the 13.xx, you wont notice any difference in output from the amps. It all comes down to the backing. If your raise that by a volt, and your not pulling anything, your not "charging" your batterys better, due to no load being present. If that makes sense. oh, and efffff you pussy's with your bolt on braket shit...... lol My buddy kenny has a quad bracket. In less time it took me to cut my home made pile of shit, he had 4 alts in, spinning and charging. And, he still has AC. Quad fucking alts, and rolling ac... makes me pissed off LOL. Looks good bro.... you could probably sell half your battery bank now....... for real. I *could* sell half my bank but I would rather keep adding alts, batts, and some time super caps even if all I'm running is 1000RMS, dgaf Yea, I remember that now that you say about the gains with non-PCM etc.etc. I just know the amps I run are rated for 14.4 and my vehicle hot charges at 13.8 with everything off while vehicle is running so when my highest point is not even what my amps are rated at and things are only gonna go down from there when using the volume knob then to me I have a issue that needs resolving. EDIT: Also, the Tahoe is not my DD and it JUST hit 100k miles so it's at a point where anything goes......
