robby512
I have a slight whine noise coming threw my front door speakers but not The rear speakers. Its on a Rockford prime 300.4. Both the front channel and rear channel are ran with the same exact rca's They both have a no name brand rca, a y RCA with 2 female ends and one male, Then the opposite one female and 2 male and they both plug in to the amp. But once again I have only noise in the front not rear and its only when the radio volume.is off Even on volume one I can't hear it or it gets drounded out. So my question is should I just get new rca's and that should fix it? Or go with a ground loop isolate?
BoomZoom808
Are you using a pioneer headunit? If you swap the front and rear RCA's at the amp does the noise change from the front to the rear? 2010 Mazda 3s 2.5L Pioneer DEH-X9600BHS Knu OFC 1/0 SS Platinum AGM / XS Power XP750 Alpine PDX F-4 / Morel Maximo 5 + Coax 5 IA 10.1 / SSA XCON

BoomZoom808
So you have identified that the issue is the RCA cable itself then? Does the speed of the whine increase when you rev? You might want to see if you can isolate or re-route it away from any factory electronics. Maybe some tech flex or wire loom might help. robby512
I did that the first time I'm going with power down driver side then RCA down the middle where there seems to be no stock wires I had RCA ran the other side opposite of power but there is a lot of stock wire All the way down on my f150 Should I put some tech flex over my power wire and big 3 in my engine? Or would that not be it?

I find it all comes down to what power, speaker and rca's you use weather you need to split it up I normal power down the same side as batt and rca on the other, and if need be fit a magnetic cable shield (Philips make them and many other companies)
