For 400 idd do

3x sdc2.0-10 on a q1-750 at 0.67ohm if you have the elec to support it at 0.67ohm

And if you want something you upgrade appon latter get the q1-1200d and run at 1.33ohm for $460

If you have to stay under 400 why not 2x sdc2.0-12 on q1-750 $350

400 is just for subs + amp. Then I say ill build his box 3/4 MDF. Then just need wiring.

I actually still have a design for a sinke 12 tuned to 33hz. What's a decent amp that won't break my budget ?
