HOW DOES IT WORK!?

generally you use the OEM trim panel and only glass/bondo the front side, the snaps or shape doesnt change on the backside (mounting side), so it should just fit back in like normal, especially with A-pillars and kickpanels. Doors are a little more tricky since you generally mount it to the inner door skeleton (the metal skin with holes in it) with screws like said above. The first ever set of kicks i did fit in VERY snug and pressure fit in so i didnt need to do anything except tap it into the corner with a rubber mallet.

They go back on with oem mounting?

Didn't realize that would be enough to hold it on considering the extra weight. (If it were super tweets)

people dont generally use full size super tweeters in the A pillars, they use regular soft dome or little neo 3in fullranges or something. people put super tweeters in the doors.

From what I've seen, most of the door panels, kick panels and pillar pods are formed directly to the originals. They aren't a separate piece that attaches to the original. Or they are complete replacements for the original.

By your first sentence, you mean that the glass sticks to the existing panel? Then, you build a shell over that piece?

yes, you get fleece or some other stretchy fabric and pull it over a form/baffle you attach to the OEM panel, attach it with spray glue, then brush on resin to the material. Let the material harden, then add fiberglass chop mat to the back for strength. then grind down/sand down to smooth edges, and make the contours flat and smooth, then paint/cover in carpet or vinyl.

here is my first set.
