HOW DOES IT WORK!?

I see all kinds of cool fiberglass pieces. Kickpanels, door pods, door panels, etc.

After you get the piece finished, how in the world do these things mount???

Especially kick panels. What is taken into consideration to keep them from falling over? :WTFBubble:

I'm using machine screws on my door pods

And that mounts to your door panel?

Same question as above.

I seen on a SMD video that he used the magnets for a grill cloth cover. I'm sure they couldnt hold a 5.25" speaker to a door though.

Even when someone does a whole door in fiberglass. How does that mold hold to the door?

Or is it like a commitment? Screws go in, putty over the screws to look flush and sand it all down?

From what I've seen, most of the door panels, kick panels and pillar pods are formed directly to the originals. They aren't a separate piece that attaches to the original. Or they are complete replacements for the original.

Several systems, several vehicles. Always changing!

They go back on with oem mounting?

Didn't realize that would be enough to hold it on considering the extra weight. (If it were super tweets)
