Brandonbkd
Okay so its been 50 degrees and rainy for the past week so I haven't got around to making my box look good again. I did however take some pictures of other progress I've been making. My brother kinda felt left out with NO bass whatsoever in his car so we decided to change that. An SDC 2.0 8 and a 1000w Cadence amp was the cure. I built and carpeted a box for him and wired the amp to 4 ohms since the little 8 can only take 250 rms. They were actually having a sale on the SDC 8s so I went ahead and got myself one for my room. I mean $30 a sub...you cant beat that! Took a little 200w power supply out of another home theater sub I had to power the thing. Brandonbkd
Not sure if many people really follow this at all...but I recently had to replace all of the body mounts on my explorer. Took some pictures, but never got around to posting them so here they are. Here are what the old ones looked like. This is all what was left of two of them haha The new set. Brandonbkd
Things never go as planned lol. I've been saving for my soon to be h/o alt and every time I get the money, SOMETHING comes up and I gotta shell out a good chunk of my alternator fund BUT...I found the following pretty funny. So I've had just a plain old lead acid battery under the hood for at least 5 years now and it decided to crap out on me. I took it out and ran up to my brother's shop to throw it on the charger...hoping that would fix it. Turns out that was NOT going to be the case lol. We hooked it up to the battery tester and this is what it read... 26 amps!! hahaha Everyone at his shop had never seen a battery test even remotely that low so it went straight to the dumpster and I had to buy a new one on the spot (had work the next day). Brandonbkd
I gave my brother and his girlfriend a little demo...and decided to take a little flex video while I was at it. All I had was an old crappy camera on me so it didn't capture really any of the flex...but oh well! lol FI BL18 Build Log: CLICK HERE!! 2003 Explorer Sport: FI BL18 SoundQubed 2200 at 0.7ohm Pioneer DEH-2500UI Pioneer 6 x 8s Rockford Fosgate 6 x 9s 5 ft^3 box at 35hz Lots of Mega Mat
