Best setup for $2000

Hello everyone im looking for a new stereo in my brother truck. Right now he has a 10 inch speaker and it sounds okay right now, but im looking for something that will give me a lot more bass the max i could spend is around $2,500 but i would like to spend around $2000 so if you guys could give me some ideas on what i should get the best bang for my buck i would really appericate it.

A good start would be to check out some setups in person, that way you can get a feel for what you want to eventually run. The problem with a question like the one you're asking is that you're trying to get an answer for something that you're not really providing any info for.

What are your goals, are you looking to compete, looking to build a daily groundpounder, what type of vehicle, how much space, etc. I'd recommend maybe checking out some meets local to you if you can find any and seeing what's out there for yourself

Clarion z702..... then get JL XD400/4, HD750/1 ...... ...speakers depends on install... sub, I'd say look at SSA Icon, Xcon, AA Havoc. Chaos, Sundown Z series .... hmm... JL subs ...

H/u $3-400

Mids/high $6-700

4+1 or 5ch amp $5-600

Sub $4-500

Wiring $1-200

And that's your 2k

i did everything in my system for about 2.5k. just click on my build link. i got a used aq 3500 for like 600 and 2 used nightshade 18's for 600 as well then got 2 d3100 xs power batteries new for like 700 then built the box for about 2-300. then 0 guage new for about 200.

^^ going with used equipment like this guy can get you a solid system for your budget like this guy did ^^

Add up new retail prices of that equipment and check out the savings.

Even used wire.

Check out the classifieds.

Everything in my car except my mids I bought used off members on SMD. Great way to build a solid system on a budget.
