damn man. I have done all kinds of rowdy shit with a system full tilt and that never happened to me. I used to hop the ass of my Monty with two Bazooka 10's wanged on a punch 150 and the cheap ass subs took it like a champ...

yeah bro, im not really sure what i wanna do. i wasnt planning on spending any more money. i did this rebuild with dre so i could have something decently nice and be done with it for a year ish, and focus on college.

but at the same time im not sure if i can have a single sub in my car with a big ass hole in my box for long. it would prob just make me angry. plus i REALLY wanted to see how i did in heat wave next saturday.

ANY IDEAS?

new subs?

fix old subs?

blocking the hole up and running 1 sub on a 2500 at .5ohms in a 4 cube box (lol)

Only issue with that... i think the X's are taller mounting then ZVX's... i HARDLY got this thing out as it is...

Oh dre. if your reading this. Remember how we couldnt get the woofer out? take of the gasket and pull really hard it comes out with out taking out the box.

Anyone know how tall a X 12 is?

Looking at the design of the box it looks like you should have plenty of clearance mounting-depth-wise. No?

I'm runnin a bc3500 to each pair of my xfl's and they love the power, I'm tuned to 33 and peak at 31.

yeah, because the x's have stood the test of time, and have a bullet proof reputation. (like the one with the unglued spider landing at the south carolina show yesterday)

Hunter its not the box depth thats the issue. Its the fact that the V of the opening of my trunk makes it impossible to get a sub in there with out pulling the box back. i struggled to get my zvx out while taking the gasket off (8 inch mounting depth)

pic incoming on what im talking about...

see the V of the opening? the left side where the one sub is closest is the bitch.. the middle sub is easy. and the other side of the V has a port so no sub needed.
