Battery relocation????

i want to relocate my battery to the trunk so i can add i better battery.(big 3 done)

But i am stumped as how to connect the wires under the hood to each other.

I think i way need to mount some battery studs some where.

You mean from the front battery to the back? Positive to positive, negative to negative.

well under the hood when i take the oem wires off the battery. I will have to connect all the positive wires to each other and all the negative wires to each other.

Connect all the +s together up front, all the -s together too, and run a heavy gauge wire, 1/0 would be prefered or larger for both the + and - wires to the battery terminals in the rear, also do another 1/0 from battery - to a good frame ground, and fuse within a ft of the + battery terminal In the rear

Why relocate a battery? Why not upgrade the front batt in addition to the rear?


You could always run a distribution block for the stock wiring

well i don't have a lot of options in my cadillac, So basically i have no options and can only do side post.

I just want something with a better reserve.
