Daddy_
Just wanted to know how is the quaility on the RE Audio SXXv2? I've heard that the quality isn't what it use to be and are being made in China instead of the USA. Does anyone have any expereice with the SXXv2 or any of the RE Audio lineup? Also do you guys know what is the difference between the SXXv2 and the PRO SX lineup? Spec wise they look the same. bbeljefe
I recently wound up with an RE SRX 15 D4 in a trade and I'm not unhappy with the performance at all. It's the only RE product I've ever used so I can't speak to the "good old days" comments. I built a ported box to factory recommendations and have been using it for about a week. It's loud, plays pretty low and its 400w RMS coils have been taking the 1000 watts I've hit it with without whining. As far as build quality, the only thing I don't like is the tinsel leads but for a budget sub, you can't expect the world. MACnonsence6
i run there older se stuff and love it. if you have RE love like i do try and find some older motors on caraudioclassifieds. ebay still has there sx 18s from my understanding there higher end stuff is still pretty good I picked up an MTX Sw1212 powered subwoofer today. This thing sounds amazing. 130 watts, 12" woofer with a passive 12" woofer tuned to 27 hz. Moving the pictures on the walls and my girl got wet from the bass when i showed her haha. Tonight should be good haha.

bbeljefe
I don't know that the older stuff is better than the newer stuff or if RE simply entered the budget market as a response to market demand for less expensive products. Manufacturers respond to consumer demand, they don't cheap out on products just to piss off a bunch of bass nerds. ;-) Facebook: facebook.com/audioanarchyllc Instagram: audioanarchyllc Youtube: youtube.com/bbeljefe
skittlesRgood
lol RE always had a full product line for every price range. I had some SX 12"s and loved them. Id never buy the newer stuff like the SXX. If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood.
