genesis Posted August 8, 2013 Report Posted August 8, 2013 this is NOT how you ship a 35-40lb speaker. I just pray its ok. havent had a chance to look closer.
WastedTalent Posted August 8, 2013 Report Posted August 8, 2013 I ... uhm, do/did work for a shipping company (not anything that's public, it's for dealerships). And some of those boxes... wow. Common sense says heavy boxes go on the bottom and light boxes up top. Yeah, not here. We can have a 60 pound box on top of a box that weighs as much as the cardboard weighs. Crushed to absolute shit. How's the part inside? No idea. Never opened one up. I've seen footprints on boxes, I've seen it all. Granted, it's not UPS/Fedex/ect... but, I know what ya mean. It's too many people that don't care, too much of a hurry, and other factors. It's so bad, saw a quart of oil spill in a box. I'm sure almost everyone on here knows that oil is pretty well packed. Kinda hard to make a quart bust open and spill. Seen it!!! Sheena = pedobear
WastedTalent Posted August 8, 2013 Report Posted August 8, 2013 And I really do mean, I've seen it all. We get some long boxes right? I propped one up so I could read the label (had to write something down off of it)... not even kidding, half the box fell off. Went from a straight ------- to more like a |-------- lol. barely still attached but yeah, the part I needed and was propped up literally went to a 90 degree angle. I know shipping is hard, but, 0 fucks given for all shipping items. Sheena = pedobear
genesis Posted August 8, 2013 Author Report Posted August 8, 2013 shipping does take brains, sure, but If you cant do it.. dont ship, or find someone who can

RooTxBeeR Posted August 8, 2013 Report Posted August 8, 2013 UPS and Fedex treat packages like shit. I have friends who package for both. In the beginining they pacl neatly and properly but slowly they get like everyone else, not giving a fuck. :/ On 11/20/2012 at 8:54 PM, AMI CUSTOMS said: Turned mine up today at a light, guy next to me his steering wheel started moving and he looked over at me like I was a magician lol. SteadyMobbin Posted August 8, 2013 Report Posted August 8, 2013 I just got an online delivery packaged poorly and containing the same mix of filler material as the OP, my sub box was holding the cheap cardboard box up. All would have been okay but FedEx speared my package with a fork truck, right through the baffle.
