SlamminBeats
Have epiceneter do your doors. I think that is the route I am going down too. who is that? I think i can handle this on my own. Its probably expensive to have some else do them and i like doing my own work.

mothra
without eliminating the door pocket completely, i'd make a kick panel for a 6.5 and tweeter than make a custom door pod for a single 6.5. that way you're not getting too deep into completely redoing your door panel but still get a good clean custom look. just to give you an idea of what i'm talking about. http://mobilesolutions-usa.com/howto/pioneer_buildoff_09_1.htm http://mobilesolutions-usa.com/howto/pioneer_buildoff_09_2.htm if nothing changes, nothing changes You don't know what you don't know, till you don't know
CarAudioFab
Literally just started watching these videos myself tonight, dude is very helpful and gives great explanations. http://www.youtube.com/watch?annotation_id=annotation_2682203491&feature=iv&list=PLmybwiwzi3MUhb7PJiTb7DwHOOzB9RcKH&src_vid=MXgq4dhr484&v=MXgq4dhr484 Edit: I'm with you guys on not having the guts to do it, but after watching this playlist I feel like it's really not that hard if you just follow along as you go Literally just started watching these videos myself tonight, dude is very helpful and gives great explanations. http://www.youtube.com/watch?annotation_id=annotation_2682203491&feature=iv&list=PLmybwiwzi3MUhb7PJiTb7DwHOOzB9RcKH&src_vid=MXgq4dhr484&v=MXgq4dhr484 Edit: I'm with you guys on not having the guts to do it, but after watching this playlist I feel like it's really not that hard if you just follow along as you go I envy this guy, he does such beautiful work. I love how detailed and upfront he is about it and does excellent video work as well, very easy to understand. I just would like to get a table router to be 100% confident with myself, I suck with my plunger I was going to post the links to my door pod series but you guys are already on it! Thanks for posting them! The series of videos I put up is great if you dont want to modify the door panel itself. Since you are ok with cutting the panel you have a lot more options! There are tons of build pictures in this section to look at. Its really not as hard as you think. Just start with a clean slate and make sure your wood work is top notch. I strongly suggest you watch the following video as it will get you on board with starting the woodwork off right. Don't just use normal speaker rings, do something unique!
