SlamminBeats
I want to do 2 6.5s and 2 1" tweeters. 1)I really do not know where To. Should i glass the pod into the door? or should i have ot pod be removable and screw on? 2)Do you see anywhere that it would benefit me to cut pieces off ? I have a seocnd set of doors so cutting is not an issue! 3)Also i do not want to lose my door handle or window mechanisms, i want all mechanisms to be the same, in the same place. Thanks! bigmizzle99
Count me in with you dude, I have no idea either and wonder the same things. The guys on here who do this are truly talented (and have big sack) to cut up a door panel. My wife would sh*t bricks if she saw me doin' that! SlamminBeats
i think im going to do kick panels first....cheaper to buy a spare set and its only one speaker.
Pioneerchuck
Cut out the pocket and the inner edge of the factory speaker hole and you should be able to glass a "pod" into the vacant area and be able to fit what you want to do.
EpicenterDesigns
Need more info. What do you want to run in the door? This would determine the overall size for me. I look at the panel and instantly see the bodylines I would want to keep and follow. Then you want to fit speakers into that area and make sure you can keep a flow to the panels look. Tribe Called Bass
Count me in aswell! I wanna learn how to glass doors so bad. On mine, I can take it off 3/4 of the way so I believe I'm just putting masking tape on the lower half, glass and peal and work with the piece into the door. I love how detailed and upfront he is about it and does excellent video work as well, very easy to understand.
