Where does that chrome looking carbon fiber trim around the window switches come from? Can your interior trim panel on the speakers match that switch trim as well? And are you using magnets to hold the speaker cover on?

the carbon fiber in my car is all stock.

And i think thats why you're as prestigious as you are! If you weren't a perfectionist, nothing would look the way it does! Which explains the tahoe, esclade, civic, lexus, and whatever else you have. It all is FLAWLESS which inspires everyone else to do great things to their vehicles. IMO this "before" pic of the driver's side shows what you're probably talking about:

I had always just assumed the slight "mismatch" was intentional - that you were actually trying to match it to a slightly different black of another surface somewhere else on the interior (kick panels maybe? dunno)

Bet people will see that and ask Toyota/Lexus dealerships about the "Premium Rockford FACTORY sound system" just solely off how at home those pods look.
