throttle98 Posted September 4, 2013 Author Report Posted September 4, 2013 Any able to please just punch those numbers in a calculator. I think the port would be 31" long and 4" wide. The face is 1.5 thick and the other walls are 3/4 mdf. Looking at my space im hoping I may be able to squeeze 4 12's in there. We'll see.
Joe X Posted September 4, 2013 Report Posted September 4, 2013 Ok so I calculated your box specs: The "extension" part is 15" long according to your measurements, each sub is 0.19 cubic feet displacement so the spec of the box is: Net volume: 2.73 cubic feet. Tuning frequency: 33.5Hz. Port area: 50 square inches.

I'd PM Cody on here or Jeff and ask them what they'd recommend for a box. I've never played with the XL myself heard a couple that sounded really good.. There screen names here are corona_jeff and CJ18 I believe. Sp the box is small amd tuned higher than I thought. Ive been talking to ram designs aboit doing a clamshell of I can get it to fit and fire it into the cabin.

Joe X Posted September 4, 2013 Report Posted September 4, 2013 If you can reverse mount the subs your spec would be 3.1 cubes @ 31.4Hz, at least would tell you if the spec you aimed for would have paid off.
