just because you're from the bay and around bad people doesn't means you have to hang around with them.. don't use that as an excuse.. i live and lived my whole life by south central LA and i don't hang around with people that can get me in trouble.. to put it to you easy, i have family members that are in gangs. Florence 13 to be exact and come from a family that where/are drug dealers. I don't follow them and do the same. i even avoid going to family parties cause when i was a teen i seen shit i shouldn't have and its crazy and easy to get involved and tossed in jail for shit you didn't do.. most my childhood friends are doing life in jail and some are even dead.. there is a saying in Spanish. dime con quien te juntas y te dire quien eres.. means if you hang around with them must be cause you are doing the same things... im not going to tell you who to hang out with. that's your choice. but living in the ghetto i seen people die just because they where at the wrong place at the wrong time

I feel you bro. South Central is way diferent than LA. I'm not talking bout gangs or nothing. I'm talking bout how people were raised. In the bay , they aren't no bloods or crips or any of that. It's just people putting on for their cities . South Central is pretty bad, yeah. Oakland is ranked in the top 5 of the worlds worst cities in USA, but I rather go to Oakland than South Central. Its cause south central is based off colors (just what I think). In the bay, they accept you no matter what. I don't hang out with gang members. I mean I know gang members, but that doesn't mean there any worst then someone who doesn't bang but grew up in the murder dubz in Oakland.. I'm not baiming anything on my friends. It's just people here TELL me to GET NEW friends, so I mentioned that I have a very diverse group of friends. I can name scholars from UC's in Cali to people who stay in HP or Oakland's roughest hoods. I just said that to answer the comment of getting new Friends
