disprovable
I am looking into getting 2 SA 12's and was wondering how many ft^3 would be recommended for a sealed box. Any suggestions? I think sundown site says 1 ft^3 per sub, does 2 ft^3 sound about right for two SA 12's?
Joe X
I'd prefer to do a single one ported but yes they say 1 cubic feet NET for sealed.
disprovable
Why would you prefer 1 ported @Joe_x? I would, but im new to building boxes and such and sealed is much easier and im perfectly content with a sealed box.

disprovable
My problem is building the ported box. Sealed is quite a bit easier to build
sprkn_ranger
What's wrong with building a ported box? If you can get someone here to give you a design (joeX gives designs) it's not too much different from a sealed box to build. Just a few more pieces of mdf and bit more time to construct. If you have the space to utilize a ported box then you will get better output from your equipment. john253a
You could always use aero ports, if design permits Then all you build is a seals box and cut a hole You could also look at 2x 10" ported in that space if that's all you have Or build a bit bigger and go the 2x 12" ported How much power you plane to run? How much space do you have? ( and measurements ) What to you have for the sub stage already? What do you want to achive?
