i think testing at 14.4 is the way to go.. if fuckers dont have the electrical for big amps its not the companies fault if they dont do rated.

if people only want to run 1 or maybe 2 batteries its best to run a small amp.. dont try and run a 5k 7k or 9k with stock alt and 2 batteries

OK, quit dickin' around for the whiners and test this puppy @ 16.8v please!!

This fact should be used more when talking about amplifiers:

Amplifiers do not make power...they convert it.

If your stock electrical system can only supply ~1000W then that 10kW amp is only going to make 1000W.

...well, or blow up trying.

i like seeing both numbers because there is lots of guys doing exactly what you said dipping into 11v on big amps. I dont think it looks bad that this amp does 4000 @ 11.5 and prob 4500 @12.8 and 5800 @14.5..

if you look at a DDm4 its rated@ 3200 @12v and [email protected].
