Now i normally don't have aproblem with cops b/c they are jsut doing their job, and i respect that b/c someone has to do it, and i know it isnt easy. I didnt complain about this one b/c it was all my fault. I truly fucked up, and got caught. no biggy except how/where it happened. I pulled out of my driveway, took off down my street, and got pulled over no lie, 3blocks from my house for speeding. i coudl still see my house. First trip out of the house that day, bright and early. That kinda pissed me off, but i knew i was wrong, and was cool. It's their job. Also, the ticket was for expired registration, not speeding. It was like 5months out too btw. i knew my day was coming. The main thing with this one, was i was like jesus bro, give me a chance atleast let my car warm up, or you know, get onto a street that isnt the one i live on. Crap. Next one. Tonight. I went to see a friend of mine, and talk to her about some trouble i was having. real good friend here. On the way home, i get pulled over for running a stopsign(No, i didnt run the damn stop sign). Scenario: Midnight, no cars on road. i pull up, tun on my blinker, and coast through it at like 5mph or less. Not like not stopping, but it was a genuine slow down, yeild, and then turn. I mean how many people come to a complete fucking stop at stop signs?! I make my turn, and at the next road to turn off on, some headlights came on. i was thinking that's weird. Then before i could pass the car completely, he kicked on the blues. I'm thiniking wtf am i getting pulled over for. It can't be for my temp tags b/c i wasnt passed him when he turns his blues on. Anyways, he walks up to my window, blues, spot light, and mag light all in my face like i'm a fucking criminal. I'm digging for my papers, & I'm in the new civic of course. I give him my ID, ins, and my temp tags which are not on the car b/c of OCD reasons. He looks it all over, and asks if i have a bill of sale. I look through all my manuals, and what not, and i tell him, that i reckon i dont, and that i'm sorry. It's my first new car, and i didnt realize it didnt have one b/c i was exited about getting the car. He asks if the car is mine, and i say yes. It's the same cop from last time, so i tell him i jsut turned 21, and this was my bday present to myself. I ask him quote, fucking unquote: "If you dont mind me asking, why am i pulled over, b/c you turned on your lights before i even passed you" (only thing i can think of it to be is no tags) He then informs me i ran a stop sign, to which i gave him a funny look, like are you fucking serious, and said "oh, ok". He then walks off, and comes back with a ticket, reads me all the legal jargon, and asks me to sign it. I sign it, all the while looking at him like "you cant fucking be serious". Supposed to come to a full complete stop (vehicle not moving) even if there is no traffic coming. I've been given a few of them for the same thing. I got pulled in my truck . the cop asks for lic,reg,proof ins. all cool. then one of the three cops that was there walks up and starts to look at my truck. he looks in side and asks me what are those? I tell him speakers. He looks at the other cop and says (loud stereo) then walks around the truck and says does this have airbags? I say yes,he says to the other cop (improper suspension). then he says (I think we should tow this truck it has no windshield wipers.) so after some discussion I got tickets for --- NO dot approved glass in taillights NO windshield wipers loud stereo improper suspension tag displayed to low the only reason they didnt tow it was I told them "if I was driving a '32 streetrod you wouldnt have a problem." not all but most cops suck... I mean, the way i worded it, made it sound bad. I didnt take this stop sign any differenat than i have taken any stop sign in my 7year driving career. That is what baffles me. Isn't it illegal not to have the tags visable on your car? I got a real embarrassing "pull over" out at the gas station, so... I'm sitting there eating, and a cop pulls this guy over next to me, apparently drunk as fuck, so 3 other cops show up, and box me in, I looked like a fucking criminal. This gas station is like the most popular hangout for most of my friends, and I looked like a complete asshat sitting there with 4 cop cars behind my truck and on both sides of me, I had to sit there for 45 minutes before i could leave.
