I got one of those mission invites, joined along with 1 other random and dude hosting was like "Alright we are about to make bank". And if you haven't gotten a text in a while, open your phone, go to contacts and scroll to the guys name (Gerald, Lamar, Ron, Simeon, etc..) and then give him a call, if he has a mission available you can choose it on the option menu when he answers, but if not there will be a Locked symbol on the "Request Mission" bar. It's mostly what I do now instead of waiting. Of course it happens to me................. I do HW for about 7 hours yesterday, get on around midnight, and get the mission "Base Invaders" from Ron, it's tied for the highest paying mission (so far at least) with 1 other mission at $25,000. YEP. TWENTY. FIVE. THOUSAND. I'm like, ok I know I have 2 midterms tomorrow, but sorry sleep, looks like I won't be seeing you tonight. I was ready to farm that mission straight through to 9:30 am. I'm on my first play through when suddenly...*BLOOP* *DISCONNECTED FROM XBOX LIVE* I was thinking ok not a huge deal, I'll join back in since I had been playing with a friend. I restart, and it says update, it never crosses my mind whats happening......... Get back to the mission and try to hit RT, hit it again, and again, and again. But alas, I realized they patched it. I've never been so enraged in my life. the instant I'm about to make it rain, and they hit me with a proverbial "cock-block" with the update. So I guess money farming is really over now. Rockstar said Don another update and to make up for it they gonna deposit $250,000 one week, then around the end of the month another $250,000 If it's worth building, it's worth over building.
