I believe its a 4 inch coil, but the basket can fit a 6 inch coil or some crazy stuff. Leo1103 Posted October 4, 2013 Report Posted October 4, 2013 Hi Leonidas, Yes we do have a 5" coil production model coming out, it is called the X2C, we are also doing our 5 year anniversary limited edition in 6" coil. we are new in the u.s, but have been out in Europe since 2008. Let me correct a few of those comments on that thread. That is a custom tooled 15" basket that we engineered specifically for our big coil woofers, no other company on the planet has that basket. The regular 'ti' style basket does not have a large enough flange to accommodate the coil sizes we are going to use, nor does it have the strength to support the motors that we have planned for these subs. There are 3 spider landings. 10ish 11ish and 12 ish, no where near 13.6" mentioned. If you look closely you can see the stepped landings with the radial taps for spider mounting screws. They are not going to be out anywhere close to the end of the month. We have some coming over to U.S. Unified finals to be shown off, but production models are still a few months out on the 15s. We have just recently begun on the tooling for the new 18" basket so they are even farther out for production.
