Skater229 Posted October 5, 2013 Report Posted October 5, 2013 I have a third DC Level 4 12 that will be heading down here soon... And am getting ready to build a new box... The two outer ones will be inverted and the center will be normal... The reasoning for doing it that way is the ass is just too fat to be tucked away in the box... And the third sub has a full dish carbon fiber, so will be showing it off... Also by inverting two of them I gain about .4cu The subs will be on a DC5K wired at .67ohms... 320a Singer alt has just been ordered and two more 90ah AGM batts will be installed for a total of 4... But anyways here is the basic plan that I have... fecupe2001 Posted October 12, 2013 Report Posted October 12, 2013 is that the biggest you can go? port and box seems small as hell, but once again, i haven´t tested those subs before, i know they recommend small boxes on their manual, looking at the specs i say i would never use a small box for those subs, but that´s just me... revoracing247 Posted October 12, 2013 Report Posted October 12, 2013 if it was me i'd swap the placement of the subs around so you only have one sub that is basically firing into the port instead of the two outside ones doing so. does that make any sense? lol ~ If it was easy, everybody would be doing it ~
