rocking.that.eclipse
If I were you, I would pick up some PAs (crescendos possibly) and try your hand at fiberglassing. No better way to learn than to dive it

JesseyMclame
If you cut out where that pocket sticks out, should give you plenty of room to glass the 8s and 6.5's without having to worry about depth and clearance, right ? David Bailey
Get some tupperware bowls (about the size of speaker you want) and tape them to the door. Try different spots and whatnot, and if they close without hitting the seat, you're good! Did you get that scar tissue when you got your vagina installed? Sergeant_Skyrim
I'm still in the process of working on a fiberglass door for my Cav with bucket seats. Decided to do an entire door panel rather than pods so I cut the door shape into a half inch thick piece of birch, and went from there. Cut out my flush mount rings, bolted the birch do my actual car door with the plastic panel off and held the rings up with the speaker I was using in them to make sure that I had enough clearance. Had to move around the design a few times before I cleared the seat but I managed to fit 4 6.5 PWXs Build in progress
