bbeljefe
I know it's a plain color but there are three colors of pearl over it. Sad thing is, that doesn't show up too good unless they're in the sun. Oh and, that color is green screen green, technically. I was hoping to demo them in front of a green screen so all you could see is the piston slapping. :-) Facebook: facebook.com/audioanarchyllc Instagram: audioanarchyllc Youtube: youtube.com/bbeljefe
n8ball2013
lol I was kidding. I bet it looks cool as hell in sunlight. And the green screen thing would be pretty cool too. bbeljefe
I got the sarcasm. But seriously, it is a color I used to paint some craft service equipment for my wife and Ben Moore's name for it is Green Screen. Haven't had much success getting them a starring role in anything though... Purplehaze
I hope an invert mount is in that things future. I agree. I'm pretty sure he told me he was going to mount it inverted. @bbeljefe - Didn't you say that? Is that the plan? bbeljefe
I may be able to convince my nephew to run the 12 inverted but for sure I will run the 15 inverted in my showroom until either someone buys it or, I put it in my son's car. Personally, I like to see em face down, ass up. :-) Facebook: facebook.com/audioanarchyllc Instagram: audioanarchyllc Youtube: youtube.com/bbeljefe

Purplehaze
Okay so now the 12.To start with, I wanted to expand the spider landing, so we could use 8" progressive roll nomex spiders. So here is how I did it. SpacersThe first one actually goes around the landing, and sits flush on the spokesThen the second one sits on top of the first, like thisSo first, I glued the two spacers together, then after cleaning the outside of the landing, I glued the spacers in place. And now it's ready for the spiders we want. I also wanted to show one more comparison pics of the new vs old terminals. So now to build the sub. After first gluing the bottom of the two spiders to the coil, here it is going on the sub. Fits on the spacers perfect! Now the leads and terminals are connectedMore ahead... Purplehaze
Next up: the top halfSide view of the triple joint (reinforced)And to finish the leads. I actually prefer to do it this way when possible, so that if problems ever come up, you can get to the connections right under the dust cap.Almost done.. just needs the capAnd now she's finished, and ready to make some noise! And how about some side by sides of the two green monsters.. brought back from the dead! And now they are ready to be reunited with their owner!
