I'm going to talk to Mike about putting a stock size pulley on, and getting rid of the overdrive. Regarding the noise, heres what his response was: "The sound your hearing at high rotor speeds is regular operation. Usually it is a high whistle (best I can explain it is like a supercharger almost)". You guys have no idea how relieved I am.. Now, I did some homework last night on the squeal in between shifts. This alt's smaller (overdrive) pulley doesnt have as much traction as a bigger pulley, so the fast shifts result in a quick slip of the belt. It sounds sorta like a blow off valve, so I dont mind haha.. So Nate, you were right. Is the slight slip harmful though? There's no way that the green belt wouldve fit (they were only available like .3" bigger than stock, or 2 inches shorter), so I went with their Micro-V line.
