2011 F150 with lots of bent plexiglass! *SHIRT TRICK VIDEO!*

Recommended Posts

Okay, so since no one wants to guess the amp, ill leave it unknown for now. lets just say its one of the most underrated amps out there. It has triple inputs, and should be able to really stretch out this pair of 12s lol.

On another note, we have pulled everything out of the truck except for the mids and highs, pulled the bottom baffle off the box, And I started on making a decorative, yet functional brace for the weakest part of the enclosure! I am SUPER happy with the outcome of this and I have never seen it done before! We found an INSANE deal on some 1.25 inch thick plexiglass. This piece will be mounted in the center (from left to right) of the box up in the front about 4 inches in front of the port. Because of how the box is designed, this is the weakest part of the enclosure (still not weak by any means!), but we are concerned with the top plexi piece flexing more than the minimal amount that it does now. So this should be the perfect solution!

I have done some "window" bracing with wood and really like the visual and functional effect it adds to any enclosure! So I figured I would try it with plexi. I spoke with Kyle about which shape would be functional that he would like the best, so we came up with this

I forgot to take a pic of the actual design drawn out before I started cutting it because I was really excited about this idea!

I got the shape cut out of the mdf for my template for the flush trim router bit could run across it. So I then stuck the plexi to the template and ran it around the router. (thanks CARAUDIOFABRICATION for the the technique! it works GREAT!)

Now, I have the option to polish the entire piece, or to leave it like it is. I think It will catch the light better like this, and I like the machine marks. Only problem is, If I polish it, and decide I like the unpolished one better, we cant go back :( What do you guys think would be better?

I like it the way it is personally. Gives a better impression of how thick it is plus the edges will look much better lit up like you said instead of polished.

i shook this one kids hand and it just folded in mine. long story short i fucked his girlfriendso.. yeah..

You want this to happen to you? Give decent handshakes people.

Leave it as it is. I like the look of light through the frosted edges

Thats cool. Im way too old to be upset by shit like that. Your name is winston. Your own parents hated you even before you were born.

My penis is bigger than your penis

I'm far from loud and my roof/headliner flaps around like Adam's ass on a windy day. I think it depends more on the structure of the vehicle.

Looks awesome! Yeah I agree with the frosted look, and you also don't have to worry as much about hiding the screws and glue as it's a little covered up and not as obvious.

I missed out on guessing the new amp, i would have said an ns-1

Looking good man that's some beefy plexi! Love the design!

Funny how the people who have a louder system than you will usually give you a compliment about your setup because they know how much blood, sweat, time, and money you put into it. The people who criticize or try and one up you....have a p.o.s to no system at all and will tell you all about this "other" guys system! Saddley I'm sure if I meet this "other" guy...he will probably tell me he thinks your just as annoying as I think you are!

I'm not compensating, just proud of fabricating!
