Trayten Posted October 18, 2013 Report Posted October 18, 2013 hello. I am wondering what material i should make my 45's out of for my box? Also is it necessary to have a cover over them? I suppose that is used for better air flow and so it doesn't get trapped etc. I'm mainly wondering what to make my 45's out of though, I was planning on rounding off the corners and stuff with a cover then put bondo on it to smooth it all out and have it be all blended together to look better. Opinions? Thanks bros Vehicle: 1988 Cadillac Brougham Pioneer DEH-X9500BHS Head Unit Custom box built by me (designed by forum member g2shuck) (1) DC XL 15 (2) SQ q1-1200d (2) Crescendo PWX-6's. Trayten Posted October 18, 2013 Author Report Posted October 18, 2013 So go without them as a whole then? This is my first box build ever so I'm learning I suppose it's not hard to add them if I eventually needed / wanted them, is it? Just take off the top of the box and do it as if you were just building it the first time? Or no?
