The one guy with the Mazda with the JL w7's and 2 1000hd's did a 151 out of the trunk and change ports yielded I think a 147 at 17hz?

I hope to be on the 150 trunk list one day.

Thanks for the replies. I doubt ill be able to fit 2 15s in a forte koup, but 12s would be possible. As for power I was thinking about starting out at 2 cresendo bc2000s and 2 2k watt 12s firing forward seals off with as many batteries I can fit. One of my problems is finding an alt for this car.

I've done 144 out of the trunk (without fold down seats) on 2500watts and 2 10's.

with the new build plan, I should be able to get 150's and without folding seats down or doing rear deck blowthru.

No offence. Your a good 8 db away, (not just math)

Good luck. Not all do it, because most cant.

Trunk,.. around.. AROUND a 50 (he didn't wanna lean on it)

Wish you the best,. but, its harder than what you think..

If your doing a TRUE trunk build.....

Right now I'm 150db away lol

But with the new amp and trunk build I'm 90% sure I can hit it.

144 was done before sealing off the rear panel, using improper box and stock electrical. (ran sundown saz2500 on D3100 and stock alternator. Voltage dropped to mid 10's).

And that was pretty damn impressive score to be honest.

My definition of a TRUE trunk car is : A car that has all equipment in the trunk and the port of the box is either fired towards the sides, top, or back of trunk, seats can be folded down or kept up.

If you are sealed off fired forward, you are just utilizing the trunk for your equipment and are not actually having any pressure come from inside the trunk.

With that being said i am in no way talking crap about peoples builds that are using the trunk i think they are great, and i myself will be sealing off firing foward here in the near future.

My best score to date is a 145.5 @ 29hz port fired towards the side, not sealed off. I have acheived a 146.1 but that was on a test run.
