Crescendo Mid-Bass Amplifier?

I plan on running 2 6.5" and 2 10" mid bass drivers. I decided each driver should get around 250 watts.

My question is, should i run these off a monoblock? 2 channel? 4 Channel? 2 seperate amplifiers?

And then, depending on whichever channel configuration, what amp(s) would you recommend?

Price aside, i just need a few ideas. Best brands? Channel Configuration? Class D, or A/B?

IMO, run it off of 2 chanels (either a 2 channel amp or from 2 channels of a 4 chan. amp). Class a/b

250 watts to one of thosee 6.5s is a bit much dont yo think? the 10s, spot on. anyways. Sundown amps and Crescendo amps have built in active crossovers.

are you running 2 6.5s and 2 10s per door? think about tweets yet?

you could run a C1100.4 420 shipped, active crossovers! bandpass particularly.

4x180 @ 4ohms and 4 x 300 @ 2 ohms

just a thought

The 6.5's can't handle that much. You need to get at least a 2 channel because you shouldn't run 10's and 6's at the same frequencies. But easier might be a 4ch. Which puts you into class a/b, put 2 8ohm 6's on each channel 1&2. Put 2 4ohm 10's on ch 3&4 (assuming its a 1100.4 from crescendo) and bandpass the 6's from 125hz to around 4k. And the 10's from say 60hz to around 3k. All exact specs are on crescendos site. All of that info was off the top of the head.

So... Are we talking about the PWXs you are using for midbass? How high up do you plan on crossing them? They are more meant to serve as mid range drivers vs. mid bass. There are other dedicated midbass drivers out there
