Door Panels: Starting New 02 Civic

Recommended Posts

I worked OT on Saturday so the only day off i had this weekend was Sunday which was also my Birthday. But even though it was the only day off i had and i was my Birthday, I still managed to sand down the door panel with 1000 grit, 1500 grit, 2000 grit, all wet (of course), and polished the flat part just to see the end result. Hope you enjoy it.

Then after applying the rubbing compound and buffing it with the polisher, I applied the Glaze and Swirl remover. (Needed in Dark parts to eliminate all the swirl marks that the rubbing compound and machine leaves behind)

And the final result in the daylight. Now to finish the rest of the door when i have a chance.
