Soccerballzs
You said component set. That means 1 pair. You will never hear them. Are you sure of this build? You are going to need more then 1 pair. This is a $$$$$ build. You are going to need more like 6 pairs of components to hear the music. Look at 8 inch mids. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/garage/vehicle/2438-jeep-commander/I Pioneer P99RSAmpere 38002-Ampere 125/44-6.5 inch Hertz HSK XL Mids4-8 inch JL Audio ZR Midwoofer 2-5.25 Satori Mids2-Morel Tweeters, 2 Hertz Milles 3 inch on A pillars2-Hertz Silk tweeters DC Audio Level 5/12 Skyhigh Wire Mechman 320 XS Power D3100MO Funniest Thread of the Year 2013: http://www.stevemead...dy-being-a-pos/
gattiboy13
I understand its going to be a very tight install but im confident that i can make everything fit. I was hoping that 3 components in the front stage would keep up with the 2 15's. I am thinking the hertz or linear power will be my best bet but i dont.know too much about thw lienear power. What are your guys thoughts? There are much better out there than Hertz for the price. They have become just a name now. Have a buddy who sells there stuff and not to impressed. Go with Morel Elate, CDT Gold series, JBL 660 GTI, or Treo SSX or even Addictive Audio Elites...all of these would be better than hertz.
memphisBred
The only model you named better than Hertz are the Elates. SMD Super Seller/Buyer Audison----Hertz----Rainbow

gattiboy13
I have heard all the Hertz and yes for what they cost, not worth it. Pay attention FOR WHAT THEY COST, yes not worth it, waaaaaaay over priced. Morel you will get what you pay for and the Elates can be found for around $500-600 they get very loud, very clean, take loads of power. The JBL GTI's are awesome, can handle loads of power, mids are super stiff and hard hitting, highs are crystal clear and extra loud for loud subs. Treo's are more of a midbass than mid range, lets cancel those out and Addictive audio are an SQ so ya I jumped the gun on those for what you want. Since you want Pure loudness while staying clear and clean, the Elates or JBL.
memphisBred
Sounds like your ears are listening to the price, not the quality. You should consider yourself lucky. SMD Super Seller/Buyer Audison----Hertz----Rainbow
memphisBred
The JBL tweeter sucked balls compared to other mid to high end tweets I've heard. I agree on the Elates being better than the HSK line. SMD Super Seller/Buyer Audison----Hertz----Rainbow
gattiboy13
O forgot the CDT ES Gold's. These speakers get super loud, they make some of the best midbass speakers anywhere and the tweets are some of the best ever made too. defiantly my number 1 choice.
