2 18 treo box

hey guys built a box for my treo ssx 18s kinda like the sound but looking for a lil more. i built the box 13.3 cu ft with a 129 sq in port tuned at 34 hz. the problem im having is the upper notes sound great but the lower range maybe 35 and lower sounds a lil funny. is it maybe not enough port or maybe too much port looking for some kinda insight? i have them powered with 1 mmats 3000.05d i have a 240 amp alt 2 kinetic 1800s up front and 2 kinetic 2000s in the back with 2runs of 1/0 so i dont think power is a problem

Sounds like your power is stout, but the box may be too big....Just checked Treo's site, they recommend 4 cubes per 18 net with a tuning of 31 hz. Sounds like your a couple cubes too big.

yea i saw that before but i fugured 50 sq in was a lil small for an 18

Post what vehicle is it and a sketch of the box design with dimensions, port area requirements change with tuning frequency so better not rush on stating how much is adequate.

2007 tahoe box is 23h*48w*23d with a 6" wide port 21.5" high center port 18" deep. i used torres to get box design

that boxes is not 13 cubes.. even with a single layer of 3/4 its around 10 cubes

the torres says its 34.55 hz is it double layer wood?
