new headlights

So my stock headlights look like shit and scatter light horribly. They are yellow on the inside and filled with water vapor.

The ones I'm looking at getting are

Thoughts? Looks like it'll have a nice cutoff. And I like smaked look for my truck. Also what lights should I look at if these don't come with any? Staying halogens. Phillips sylvania? What series?

As for bulbs check out Phillips X-treme Power (they advertise up to 100% more light output than stock)....Don't know how true that is but I got them on my car and they do well.

Id do projectors and halos but I don't want to f up the wiring and I think they'd draw to much power for my current alt and battery with my setup. Also don't kbow what would be good or not.

LED halos suck ass...You're going to want CCFL halos if anything.

And OP, the headlight assemblies you picked were nice, clean, and pretty fitting. Seem like they'd be a great swap for your truck. I like the smoked look.

Alright. Ill probably stay them so I don't have to deal with the ballast and other wiring nightmares. There were some badass projectors but were around $200

Ehh, no it doesn't. All I see is a huge reflector. If I was halogen, Id use Philips bulbs.. bulbs from their CrystalVision Series.

Honestly, halos barely draw any current at all. I just used a relay to be safe. I tapped into an ignition, and wired in an SPST switch.

I love my CCFLs.. they're insanely bright. However, Ive heard great reviews of the TRS LED halos. The only complaints Ive heard is that they're yellow when off.

Thank you. And I was talking more about the hids drawing the energy. I'm not into the electrical part so I'd rather just go stock plug. But compated to what's on there I don't think they will reflect as bad. I have no cutoff and a tiny hot spot for each one. They just suck. The stock housing on my moms journey have a pretty clean cutoff to around 40 ft for being a reflector.
