If you must go with those woofers (they are the baddest of the budget woofers) Id just do 4 of them bro. Do 4 of them in a nice sealed enclosure. (they tend to like sealed better then ported) give them a little over a cube each, Put them on a real amp... maybe a nice 2k? How about a CT 1400.1, or match with your kicker amp you already have and grab a couple 1000.1's.

Get some sky high wire, Dump the caps.. Get some nice batteries, and have fun.

IB, those bass amps, Caps, and other things you listed just doesnt sound like you want your investment to last. Sure its budget now... but whats budget when shit breaks man.

Not hating just bringing some other ideas to the table.

As I said budget build. Any other subs amps would have been double.

This is a winter car. By winter car I mean if it breaks down im not fixing it. Just having some fun playing with what I love doing.

75% will be mdf. The other 25% I will completly seal with glass. Will be sealed below trunk with mdf so no trunk rattle.

I would just rather not have stuff break so i don't have to worry about not fixing it. But maybe thats just me.

No doubt the subs are the best budget choice out there. I don't agree that IB is the best route. I am willing to bet 4 of those in a nice sealed enclosure would be way louder. Im also willing to bet that with a single better amp you could get louder, use less electrical, and will not have as high of a chance of it blowing. But since you have been doing this 21 years and i have for 3 i guess you know way more then i do sir.

sword boy I love talking to people with ideas. I am a firm believer in use 1 amp. This build has been changing. Started with 2 12s I had bought already. Decided to do 3 and ordered a suitable amp. That lead to 3 more 12s and another amp. This was designed from day 1 for the sole purpous of saying only paid 400$ in subs and amps and dam it sounds good.

On the CT sounds web site there is a amp dyno run done on the ct 1400.1 by Steve Meade. Very impressive results, if you know anything about the amp dyno, its a hard test to pass even for "known" quality amps.

I'd think that some OFC 1/0 and a 250a fuse would be fine for it.

So this is how I look at this...

Mind you im not a fan of cheap amos or speakers. But this is how my mind works. If I had bought a better amp I would have no doubt bought better speakers and the 1000 build would have turned into a 3k build. I have my tahoe as my flagship. This is just having some fun. I did a ton of research and the power acustik gothic series seems like its there best amp they ptoduce and its been around 10+ years will all positive reviews. Also its a 1ohm amp I will only be running at 2.66 so no strain. Im a fan of caps in the rite use. Even kinetic batteries are still batteries. Caps help steady the voltage is all they do. Still need upgraded alt. And Battery.

03 chevy cavalier 2 door. Looking at it today im gonna move the back seat forward a couple inches and more straight up and down instead of it leaning back. Only people that would ever sit back there is one of my kids friends on the way to the mall. Dnt mind if its a little tighter space ;) I will def post a ton of pics as I dig into it. So far just chopped out a ton of metal from around the rear deck. Cut out the lifter springs and brackets to make more room. Trunk lid is heavy as hell without those springs. As said will be a tight fit for everything but when done... wow.
