I ran yellowtops in my truck for several years. They're great for lights, winches, and other accessories that are a constant, steady draw. They'd do well if you building a tailgating rig that had more than just music. Yellowtops also dislike being charged rapidly, they benefit from a 2amp charge over a long stretch of time. XSPOWER batteries can discharge and charge rapidly and still have the capacity to hold up to serious systems. I have a d3400 in the stock locations of both my car and truck, plus d3100s in the rear for the full banks. I'll never go back to yellowtop after using XS.

Well I got the second pair of 12's Yesterday. Just waiting on another paycheck to order the third and final pair. I will also be installing (4) Punch 61/2" in the doors, so I still have to order those. More to come soon....

I did all the math for the boxes today and got the basic design and list of all the cuts im gonna have to make for the boxes down in autocadd. I read the specs on the subs and the sealed box ranges from 0.7-1.8 CU.FT. Per sub. So im gonna go with 1.3 CU.FT. for each sub. Allowing the 0.18 Cu.ft. For the woofer displacement i should be at 1.12 cu.ft. For each. I want LOOOW notes. Anyone have any arguments or suggestions as to whether or not im in the ballpark? Ive noticed alot of peoples builds using ported enclosures that they say are tuned to certain frequencies but im not sure how to go about tuning a box. Thats the main reason im going with a sealed enclosure. Also ported boxes are larger and im not sure i can fit 6 12's in a ported box back there. Would love some feedback on this. Also thanks to all who give thier time and share thier knowledge on here. It is much appreciated....

Although your going to be using a sealed box. I think with 6 - 12's i think you will be happy with the outcome. If you dont like it, you can always in the future run less subs in a larger ported enclosure.

Jensen amps for the win. In like 91 or 92 I ran a Jensen for while. Definitely tuned in for this.

Well before this year, I would have NEVER run a jensen amp. But about 6 months ago, I ran one of these 900.1 monoblocks on 2 12" kenwood excelon's and it sounded great. The amp performed perfect. also they are C.E.S. 2006 certified and @ $129 each, they are affordable. i figure they will be perfect for P1S4's single voice coils and im using one amp for each (2) subs. We will see...........

You won't be able to fit 6 12's in a ported box, but you can fit 4 if the 6 12's sealed doesn't work out.

New question. I am running (3) sub amps each having a separate bass control knob. will the PAC LC-1 take all three amp gains and control all three with the one knob? I sooo dont want three different bass control knobs to deal with.
