I have gone through the properties of every folder and added it up to 51gb's. Except the ssd says 77gb's are being used. I need to free up that space to install BF4 so I can have that and Ghosts on the same drive for faster loading. If you could think of anything I would appreciate it! However, I have 16gb of 1833 ddr3 RAM Do I actually need this pagefile.sys? 12gb of it is hiberfil.sys which to me isn't really something that matters to me and I know how to remove it, should I? Kranny Posted November 18, 2013 Report Share Posted November 18, 2013 you have to turn off the hibernation feature on your computer in order to get rid of the hiberfil.sys file. DONT JUST DELETE IT. i have 8 gigs of ram and a samsung ssd. their magician program auto set my pagefile to be between 100 and 1024mb. haven't had an issue.
