jk13 Posted November 18, 2013 Report Posted November 18, 2013 Either slowly start peeling it off and dealing with the mess underneath…..or…..if there isn't any damaged or loose areas you can wrap right over the existing covering. Static drops are my bag.

It's not damaged, I had thought about just wrapping of the existing. Use a steamer, it will come off easily. A steamer is a good idea. I had an old Caddy once and I took some basic AutoZone 3M fiberglass resin and mixed up about a quart of it and laid a little down on the backside of the board to give it a little bit more strength.
jk13 Posted November 18, 2013 Report Posted November 18, 2013 The cloth that's already on your headliner would soak up resin nicely. If you don't need to flex it to get it back in that would work. Otherwise glassing and wrapping in place doesn't sound like a ton of fun. Static drops are my bag.
